A Personal Journey…

    The original Christian doll began in my home in the fall of 1997 when I was trying to create a special Christmas present for my daughter, Hannah.  I wanted her to have an inspirational doll that represented our Christian faith.  The following fall, I designed and sold a few more Christian dolls at my church bazaar.  I continued to sell a few more dolls here and there, but it was not until the tragic events on September 11, 2001 that I truly began a dedicated mission.  Thus, became The Patriotic Series and the new names for the first four dolls- Faith, Grace, Hope and Joy.

In 2002, this mission became known as Friends in Faith.  This new faith journey has been an inspiration to me and it is my prayer that “Faith” along with her friends will represent the grace that Christian believers have been given. In addition, I hope that the Friends in Faith Christian doll collection will bring a sense of hope and joy to each child.     

In 2003, Friends in Faith became Friends in Faith Creations.  Initially, I designed a bracelet for my daughter and a matching one for her doll.  Afterwards, a Christian jewelry line began.  Recently, a friend of mine gave a Christian bracelet to her daughter as a confirmation gift.  More recently, another friend wore the earrings and necklace set for her daughter’s wedding!  What wonderful ideas for such special occasions!

In 2004, I sent out Friends in Faith Thank You cards to several friends and family and thus began the inspirational card collection.                           

       The Friends in Faith Creations gift collection has been a joy to create and it is my hope and prayer that it will be an inspiration and a blessing to others.
